Helicopter - The most Expensive Bottle Opener (13 pics)

Helicopter - The most Expensive Bottle Opener -
What to do when you need to open the bottle, but no can opener, but there is a helicopter?
In the continuation of the post instruction.

This is a discussion on Can you please pass me that beer bottle opener? Oh, helicopter would do fine as well! USA vs Japan in the open a beer bottle with a helicopter contest...

Opening a beer with a bottle opener is usually a simple task. However, using a helicopter with an opener attached to it is just making that task more difficult than it needs to be.

Some may call it trick flying, while others the most expensive beer bottle opener in the world, but whatever you decide, using a helicopter to pop open a few beers is very impressive to say the least.

Realistic Sculptures by Mark Newman (19 pics)

Realistic Sculptures by Mark Newman
Here are some of sculptor Mark Newman’s most awe-inspiring creations. His work seems so realistic, even though his subject matter is very unrealistic. This combination is not only exciting, but a veritable treat as well.

Newman has chosen for his subject creatures from mythologies, comics, stories and even video games. There is a Wolverine amongst his sculptures as well as what could be Kratos from the God of War Play Station games. There is Frankenstein in all his pitiable state as well as what could be Gollum from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. On one hand, there is a King Kong and on the other there is a gymnast.

The beauty of the sculptures is that the skill of the sculptor makes them look extremely life like, even though the sculptures themselves are of creatures that are mostly mythological or fantastical, mainly figments of our collective imagination.

However, it doesn’t mean she can’t draw with a regular pencil – vintage typewriter is just one of Keira’s mediums to create her art.

Typerwriter artist Keira now has an arsenal of 30 typewriters and already made ASCII portraits of Kate Moss, Marylin Monroe, Barrack Obama, Tom Hanks and others you are about to see.

Love Locks - The Symbol of Love Luck (12 pics)

Locks of Love
It seems that locks aren’t just simply used to keep property secure from theft and vandalism any more. For decades now a custom has slowly been creeping across the world whereby loving, romantic, and sometimes superstitious couples have decided to write messages on padlocks, attach them to certain landmarks in specific areas - more often than not railings and fences - and then throw away the key. The practice, as well as symbolising a couple’s unending love for each other, is in some countries thought to bring good luck to a relationship. Below are some amazing examples.

Cologne, Germany — The 406 metre Hohenzollern Bridge in Cologne; a structure that has been slowly covered in padlocks since the romantic trend reached the city in 2008, much to the annoyance of local government.

Incredible Cyclisk Tower of Bicycles (7 pics)

Incredible Cyclisk Tower of Bicycles
Ilana Spector, the ancient Egyptians erected obelisks out of hundreds of pounds of stone as a form of magical protection for their temples. Modern Americans erect obelisks out of hundreds of bicycles (and one tricycle) as a form of artistic display for street corners. At least that's the case in Santa Rosa, California.

Crowned "Cyclisk," this stand-out sculpture measures up at six stories tall, 10,000 pounds, and approximately 340 total bicycles (and that one trike, of course). But don't worry about hundreds of Santa Rosa cyclists looking around for their rides stolen in the night, the bicycles making up the obelisk were all previously unusable and donated by the community.
